Skoda has unveiled crucial details about its upcoming Peaq electric SUV, previously known only as the ‘production-spec version’ of the Vision 7S concept. Positioned as the flagship of the Czech manufacturer’s electric vehicle lineup, the Peaq will sit above the Elroq and Enyaq. Anticipated to debut globally later this year, here’s an in-depth look at what the Skoda Peaq has to offer.
The Skoda Peaq will be built on the Modular Electrification Toolkit platform. It will come in three variants and feature two battery sizes. This setup ensures a range of options for consumers, catering to different needs and preferences.
As Skoda’s largest model to date, the Peaq boasts impressive dimensions. The electric SUV measures 4,874mm in length, 1,664mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,965mm. For comparison, the Enyaq has a wheelbase of 2,766mm, and the Kodiaq measures 2,791mm.
In terms of cargo space, the Peaq’s 5-seater version offers the largest boot in Skoda’s production lineup, with a capacity of up to 1,010 litres. The 7-seater variant’s boot space is 299 litres, but both versions include a 37-litre frunk. A notable ‘Simply Clever’ feature is a QR code that links to a video explaining how to maximise the boot’s utility.
The Peaq will be available in three variants, each with distinct drive configurations and battery capacities:
All variants support DC fast charging, achieving a 10-80% charge in under 30 minutes. The Peaq’s lithium-ion (NMC) battery pack ensures robust performance and efficiency.
The Skoda Peaq is packed with modern, convenient features:
Additional ‘Simply Clever’ features include a ticket holder, a foldable table, a cleaning cloth for the touchscreen, and front windscreen wipers with integrated washers.
The Peaq embodies Skoda’s Modern Solid design language. Despite being camouflaged in near-production images, we know it features a chiselled front fascia with a gloss-black panel, LED illumination, and LED Matrix headlights. Exterior highlights include aero-optimised alloy wheels (19- to 21-inches), a flat belt line, a prominent rear spoiler, and up to 10 exterior colour options.
Inside, the Peaq uses recycled and sustainable materials, with leather upholstery available later. The steering wheel comes in either a two-spoke or three-spoke design, depending on the trim level.
Although Skoda has not announced an exact launch date, the Peaq is scheduled for a global reveal in mid-2026. In India, Skoda displayed the Vision 7S concept at the Auto Expo in January 2025, hinting at a potential future launch of the Peaq in the Indian market.
