The CPx made its initial debut at EICMA 2019. The 2020 edition launch was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to the cancellation of EICMA 2020.
The 2020 Super Soco CPx is powered by a robust 4kW (5.36bhp) electric motor, delivering a peak torque of 171Nm at a rated RPM of 750. The scooter offers two battery options: single or dual 2.7kWh, with the dual-battery model providing a maximum capacity of 5.4kWh. This top-tier configuration promises a range of nearly 140km on a full charge when ridden at an average speed of 45km/h. Charging the battery from empty to above 90 per cent takes approximately 3-4 hours.
Performance-wise, the CPx can achieve a top speed of just under 90km/h. It is fitted with 100/80R16 tubeless radial tyres at the front and 110/80R14 at the rear. The single-sided swingarm combined with the hub-mounted motor offers an impressive conversion efficiency of 91 per cent and allows for a tyre-change time of only five minutes.
