India’s electric two-wheeler market continued its upward trajectory in February 2026, despite a slight dip in sales compared to the previous month. According to data from the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), a total of 1,11,709 electric two-wheelers were sold in February 2026. This figure reflects a robust 45.60% year-on-year (YoY) increase, up from 76,722 units sold in February 2025. However, on a month-on-month (MoM) basis, sales decreased by 9.04% compared to 1,22,812 units sold in January 2026.
TVS Motor Company maintained its dominance in the electric two-wheeler segment, selling 31,614 units in February 2026. This performance marks a significant 66.78% YoY growth from 18,955 units sold in February 2025. Despite a 8.52% MoM decline from 34,558 units in January 2026, the company’s iQube electric scooter remains a key driver of its market leadership in the rapidly expanding EV space.
Bajaj Auto followed closely behind, selling 25,328 units in February 2026. This represents a 17.42% YoY increase over 21,571 units sold in February 2025. The company experienced only a minor 1.05% MoM decline from 25,598 units sold in January 2026, indicating stable performance in the competitive market.
Ather Energy claimed the third spot with 20,584 units sold in February 2026, reflecting an impressive 71.85% YoY growth compared to 11,978 units in February 2025. However, the company saw a 6.43% MoM decrease from 21,999 units sold in January 2026. Popular models like the Ather Rizta and Ather 450 range continue to be major contributors to the brand's sales success.
Hero MotoCorp’s Vida electric scooter range experienced explosive growth, selling 12,514 units in February 2026. This surge represents a staggering 364.17% YoY increase from 2,696 units sold in February 2025, highlighting Hero’s expanding footprint in the EV market. Despite a 5.92% MoM decline from 13,302 units in January 2026, the brand's performance underscores its growing influence.
Greaves Electric Mobility, selling under the Ampere brand, sold 4,724 units in February 2026, a 27.54% YoY increase from 3,704 units in February 2025. However, this was a 11.49% MoM decline from 5,337 units in January 2026. Greaves surpassed Ola Electric, which reported 3,968 units sold in February 2026. Ola faced a sharp 54.26% YoY decline from 8,675 units in February 2025 and a significant 47.21% MoM drop from 7,516 units in January 2026.
BGauss sold 2,411 units in February 2026, marking a 97.79% YoY growth from 1,219 units in February 2025, despite a slight 2.66% MoM decline from 2,477 units in January 2026. River Mobility reported 2,255 units sold, a strong 267.86% YoY increase from 613 units in February 2025, although this was down 12.83% MoM from 2,587 units in January 2026.
E-Sprinto Green, a Haryana-based manufacturer, saw 1,176 units sold in February 2026, a remarkable 337.17% YoY growth from 269 units in February 2025, though with a 42.15% MoM decline. Other smaller electric two-wheeler manufacturers collectively contributed 7,135 units to the total retail sales in February 2026, representing a 1.32% YoY growth from 7,042 units in February 2025, but a **3.65% Mo
